Big Apple Here I Come

I did it. I bought a plane ticket to New York (well, it’s actually two because Indy is coming with me). I leave on Sunday in the morning and come back Wednesday morning.

I am determined to find my parents on this trip. I am ready to literally go to every hospital and law firm in New York until I find at least one of them. This might get ugly, and I might come back completely heartbroken because of what my parents say, but it’s something that needs to be done.

It’s not for certain, but I think we might stay at the Plaza Hotel. Yes, it’s a bit pricey (more like extremely epensive). But, my parents are probably going to break my heart if I find them so a nice luxurious place to sleep in is necessary (not really necessary but I do think it will help me feel better).  (And I've been working my butt off so I think I deserve a little something nice.)

To distract myself from the possible (more like definite) heart break, I’ve decided to set a few goals for this trip. What are they? … I don’t know yet. I’ll have to think deep thoughts because shenanigans are my specialty and New York is a new place for me so the possibilities are endless (like the Klondike bar).

Wow. I wish you the best of luck and comend you on doing something that could end in heartbreak because usually when heartbreak is involved people run the other way. So once again good luck and I hope you get better results than what you expect.

You should see if your lawyer parent is listed in Martindale-Hubbell law directory. I do research for a big law firm and I use it to find opposing counsel all the time.
