Secret Admirer?

Since I moved here last week, there’s only been one person that’s actually been nice to me in this building.  We keep randomly bumping into each other and having short interesting conversations in the lobby and in the elevator.  All I know is that seems really nice, he has a good sense of humor, and he must like Indiana Jones or something because he’s been dressed like him every time I’ve bumped into him.  Today, we finally formally introduced ourselves (names and all), which is exactly why I believe it’s him.

I got back from work and the guy at the front desk stopped me before I got to the elevator and told me I had a delivery.  I was a bit confused because I hadn’t ordered anything and because I had only given a few people my exact address.  What was the package?  Well, it wasn’t really a package.  It was a giant vase filled with two dozen red roses.  I was so confused.  The only thing that was with it was a little card that said my name on it.  I trued questioning the guy at the front desk but he wouldn’t budge.  Luckily, right before I went into the elevator, he called me back and to tell me something.  He said I had a secret admirer in the building and that was all he was going to tell me because he had been paid to shut up.

It wasn’t until I got into my apartment that I started to suspect Indiana Jones (a.k.a. Jason).  Everyone else in the building didn’t like me, and I’m sure they wouldn’t go through the trouble of getting me flowers just to mess with me.  Actually, come to think of it, the psycho lady that almost ran me over who lives two doors down probably would, but Indiana Jones is the only one that knows my name.  At this point it made sense if he had sent them because it was a weird coincidence that I got the flowers on the same day he learned my name.   But then again, it didn’t really make much sense.  We hadn’t really talked a lot so if it was him then maybe he was just trying to be friendly since everyone else in this building was damn evil.

Either way, I am confused and tiered.  But I’m thrilled that I have the day off tomorrow and get to be lazy all day.
